Event Caterer in Cheltenham

Based in Cheltenham, we are centrally located in the heart of the Cotswolds. The Classic Catering Group provides catering in the 3 counties of Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and Worcestershire with the occasional day trip into Herefordshire! Our purpose built modern event kitchen holds equipment for up to 1,000 guests with ample space for production & storage.

R&R Catering was started in 1974 with The Classic Catering name being added in 1999 enabling a wider range of menus to be offered. We only do event outside catering and what we do, we do very well.

The Food
You can be assured of good food as we use a proper local butcher sourcing only British meat (unless you want crocodile / ostrich etc.) We have our superb local veg man delivering daily and good small specialist suppliers. Our soups, stocks and gravies are home made with care and skill. Your menu choice is cooked on the day, at your venue to ensure excellent quality throughout your meal. As caterers in Gloucestershire we are spoiled for choice when it comes to top quality ingredients.

The People
Our Chefs are event chefs who understand how to get the best out of sometimes difficult marquee and venue kitchens (we don’t employ prima donnas). Our strong team of regular and temporary staff are uniformed and ready to help the guests enjoy their event. You can be sure of good, attentive service always led by an experienced manager. We are family friendly and understand that younger guests have different needs.

The Flexibility
We are flexible and can give you options as to what may work for your event. Menus are always being tweaked for clients so please ask if you have a certain food or style of service in mind.   We fully understand the need for good, flexible event catering in Cheltenham and the surrounding Cotswolds.
